Thats not professial wrestling theres no actual wrestling or storytelling just controlled violence.

I’ll stand by this. WWE talent scouts were at these shows witnessing Darby and Ethan performances. Somehow they are on the rivals roster. Darby is on ESPN and Yahoo’s front page and is wrestling CM Punk.

It great to see a new generation of wrestler that has learnt from the heroes of the old school wrestler, and r NOT taking steroids and drinking themselves silly or illegal drugs, but I imagine the pain they put their bodies thru is real, I wonder how they deal with that, as we all know that prescription medications are probably just as bad as steroids and cocaine, but it great to see the new attitude taken

If they're going to use props like that shovel then whoever is using needs to ensure that they can use it safely without hitting someone with the edge. If i was the promoter or the guy in the ring with him i would never let him swong that damn shovel at me unless i knew and had seen hin do it right. That injury could have been ten times worse if either of them had moved just a couple of inches up or down.

As a pro wrestling fan, Gabe Sapolsky is an icon in the industry. He was running Ring of Honor with legendary roster. CM Punk, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Austin Aries, Chris Hero, etc. All of them booked by Gabe.

Way past 'exposing the business ' before this...we're now into how it used to work to how it works behind the scenes.

To see where a lot of these wrestlers like Darby Allin, Ethan Page, Keith Lee, Drew Galloway, among others are a year or 2 after this documentary really goes to show that the wrestling business is ever evolving and changing on a daily, weekly & monthly basis. It also goes to show how their hard work pays off.

I had a chance to watch austin theory at a progress show few years ago. Super talented. And Matt riddle is the coolest dude to meet

made it to the big league. But it bothers me that some of the guys here won't be used to their potential. Drew Galloway just won the WWE championship. Keith Lee is killing in NXT as NA champ. Austin Theory just got called up to the main roster. The thing that bothers me is Matt Riddle. He's killing it in NXT and formerly the indies. But I won't think he'll do much in the main roster bc of vince. Great series by vice

3:08 in and already this is total bullshit. People knew by at least the 1930's - not the 1980's - that wrestling was a work. Also, there is no evidence that pro wrestling is experiencing any kind of renaissance or has any more of a fraction of the cultural impact that it did during it's other boom periods including the early days of television, the Hulkamania or the Attitude Eras.
